There are trends that you don’t think would make a comeback. There are trends that you don’t think you would ever wear again. And here we are today, rocking the latest return in the fashion world: color tinted sunglasses.

Some people related them to the seventies but for me, they are reminiscent of the boys band era when Britney was still America’s sweetheart and Westlife was still a thing. My younger self use to own a light shaded blue pair which had an embellished lens with a miniature heart made of rhinestones.

I always love how fashion revisits old classic, childhood memories and turns it into a current trend making us create new moments to remember them by.

As per the tropical vibe that has been a focal point in most Spring Summer collections, I feel like it has been around for the past few years already. However, this year’s twist on it is by far my favorite version. The bright colors bring a more colorful version to the leafy pattern that we all know and associate with the style.

Kimono jackets and cardigans have been my favorite since they were introduced to the ready to wear fashion world for they easy going stylish vibe. My laziness surrounding the effort of creating an outfit on days where I obviously have nothing to wear in my overflowing closet makes me love them even more. You can just throw it on, have it belted or not, and pair it with simple jeans, shorts or a dress and have yourself a pulled together outfit.

This summer looks like it will be a colorful one.
