I recently received the podcast update on my Spotify (finally), and even though I was never truly addicted to them, I scanned through the endless list of options, like a child with a new toy on Christmas morning.
I have already heard all about #Girlboss Radio, hosted by the one and only Sophia Amoruso, and couldn’t wait to listen to all these inspiring women sharing their story of success. I already knew I would love it considering her book is one of my favourite non-fiction book of all time.
I didn’t, however, know that there would be other podcasts available that were so inspiring and fun to listen to, they would make me fall in love with this incredible women driven community all over again.
The amazing Lena Dunham, hosting Women of the hour, which I haven’t heard about before listening to it (where have I been?), made me laugh out loud and inspired me with such a creative mini podcast series, I truly recommend anyone to listen to it.
We are lucky to live in an era where feminism and women’s right isn’t as taboo as it used to be, and even though there is still a long way to go for complete equality of sexes, knowing that some women out there are doing incredibly well and want to share their story or their success for us to be inspired and go after what we dream of, it would be such a shame not to take part and listen.
There are also a lot of books, movies or documentaries out there that serves the same purpose. Maybe for another post?
